Trust.
Trust is not easily given. You get it by earning it. Make a mistake and getting trust is even harder than before because you have to prove yourself even more that you are trustworthy. Simple sorries aren’t going to be accepted without any action shown. Don’t take advantage of people giving you trust because if you do, you never know if that person is thinking to not trust you. Realize what you do and think before you speak.

Lets go on a old fashion date. Not the movies, not the mall, not some fancy restaurant. Lets go spend the day together at a park or beach. We could have a picnic laid out on a blanket along with our favorite foods instead of going to a fancy restaurant. After we’re done we can just go on a walk hand in hand and talk about whatever that’s on our minmds, the things we like and don’t like, or things we’ve always wondered about. No make-out sessions, nothing like that, lets just get to know each other better than we already do. We could then go sit on the swings or play on the playground, have fun and be silly as though we were little kids again. Maybe after all of that we could go buy some ice cream, sit down and watch the sun set together. Nothing fancy, just the two of us and some quality time.

Being friends with your ex.
To me, if an ex is able to stay friends with you after a breakup, it tells you that when you guys were together, they actually liked you for you, and that being with you was just a way to get to know you better. They’re a keeper if they can look past the awkwardness of the fact you guys had a thing, and be friends just like before.

It seems as though slow dancing is fading away as slow love songs are becoming less popular. We hope that despite the radios and DJs not playing them, that people will still find a way to have this special moment together, because there are few things like the innocent romantic emotions that come from slowly swaying with a person you really care about, to a good, sweet song. As we grow up, slow dancing is one of those things that don’t happen much anymore. So don’t take it for granted… slow dance whenever and wherever, because there are fewer and fewer opportunities to (if at all) as time goes on.
